Marianm, I certainly agree with that Damien is a jolly good fellow. Congratulations Damien you deserved to win everso much, I couldn't hold back the tears when you were announced as the winner. What a truly special moment it must have been for you and how wonderful there were so many of your family there to share it with you, they must have been just so very proud.
Your story is just so very beautiful, something else i was thinking about too, how wonderful they put up the entering age as well, as without that we all wouldn't have been blessed by your glorious voice and to think you originally had to be talked into auditioning. It really was in your fate and meant to be. i cannot wait to purchase your winning single, i so loved the way you did it. Your performance last night of Nessun Dorma and Night of My Life took my breath away. I am so looking forward to purchasing all your upcoming cds, well done Damien you did Australia proud, i so loved seeing your reaction when you won, you looked dazed with shock but just so very happy and forever humble and gracious, with your lovely little smile, it was just so beautiful to see.
