Just in case no-one has said it yet (highly doubtful  ).... you are kicking seriously arse this week. Truly. I dont know what I was expecting, but I am just so impressed with the way you are handling all this interviews and appearances, and on so little sleep! Its really impressive, and yet another reassurance that my votes were a rock-solid investment for the future career of a major talent. You are a star  |

He sure is kicking butt..... He sounds like a star, looks like a star....so he MUST be a STAR  Money well spent I reckon...it certainly was well worth every penny spent voting. Can't wait to hear more...bring on Feb I say. or whenever the album is coming out. |

Totally agree with all of the above - only wish I had put some money down at the bookies for Damien to win. then it would have been a win win win situation, instead of a win win lose situation (Damien wins, we get to hear brilliant music for years to come, my pockets are somewhat lighter).
Damien - you're brillliance just astounds me.

When Damien opened his mouth and out came that amazing voice was there any doubt he would become a star.
Platinum oustanding and this is just the beginning to a wonderful career.

I was just watching the videos again, and Damien, what truly sets you apart from other singers, even more than your amazing voice, is the emotional connection you achieve with your audience because you sincerely feel the song. When you look up at the camera I get a jolt of whatever emotion you're projecting in the song. That is amazing and I have never felt that from another singer. You are so right to only want to sing songs that you have an emotional connection with and to keep doing live performances so you can connect with the audience. You know what your strengths are and don't ever let the music industry change you.
