Damien, your performance, combined with the clips, reduced me to tears. It was so tender and beautiful. You were definitely the right person to do it. No wonder Eils insisted! Just magical.

Damien I don't know what to say. Others on this forum know how much Billy Thorpe meant to me. My family used to joke with me that you had taken over from him. I had told them that he had just moved along the bench to allow you on it and that I still loved you both. I was distraught when Billy passed away but with you singing last night and it being a tribute to those who had passed, I had my two fave singers together. I totally lost it. I was reduced to tears but in a good way. You will never understand the impact your performance had on me and for that I thank you. I am hoping the vid will be up so that I can download it and have you both with me always.

Damien that was such a touching tribute last night, I am so proud of you. I think each and everyone of us here at home and at the Logie's were honoured to have you perform the tribute song last night. Thanks for taking the nerve wracking step of going to the Logie's with it being so close to baby bump's arrival and bringing such a moving moment to all. It truly was touching. I reached for the tissues as we lost so many special celebrities throughout the year, but it was so soothing to hear your angelic voice while going down the sad memory lane. Thanks again.
Hugs, Belinda x

Oh Damien, You brought me to tears with your performance at the Logies. It was a beautiful way to remember those performers who passed on during the last year. It makes you appreciate how special friends and family are, it really brought things undone when I saw the image of Richard Morgan who succumbed to Motor Neurone Disease, my sister also has this disease and a person feels helpless knowing that there is nothing that can be done to help stop this dreadful illness.

Amazing performance last night Damien, just amazing. They couldn't have picked anyone better for such an important part of the night. Congratulations, I'm sure I'm not the only one in Australia who had a tear in their eye by the end of it!
