For those of us lucky enough to have attended one (and often more) of Damien's concerts there is no doubt why he was nominated. To those who missed out on seeing him last time (Spud) DON'T MISS OUT NEXT TIME. He gives an amazing performance. Congratulations and well done Damien. Thoroughly deserved. Unfortunately it's not up to me whether I go or not, but obviously I really want to go next time.

..and for you trivia buffs, it appears that D is the only Idol graduate to ever get an individual nomination for a Helpmann... (the 2004 Idol tour recieved a single nomination in 2004, but thats it!) DAMIEN RULES!

Braffy it went to Melbourne International Arts Festival and Arts House for Best Australian Contemporary Concert.
