Yeah, I thought that too...it's just 2 days after my birthday But at a time like this, family has to come first. He's obviously petrified he'll miss the birth - he didn't even want to go to the Logies but Eileen made him. I think he's trying to free up this month for surprise trips to the hospital. We're prepared to wait, but Bump isn't! ;D

The bub being born will provide some nice free publicity as well. Well worth the little extra wait.

Oh yeah, Bump arriving anytime now - how exciting for D and E. Also who knows what awesome songs D could come up with after an exciting (and inspiring) time like the arrival of the Bump. This will also hopefully give D a chance to rest his voice. Wouldn't want him to overdo it and then not be able to sing at all.

The birth of the baby takes priority. I want Damien to be fully able to enjoy the magic moments with Eileen and Jarvis, and baby bump. ;D We can wait for the new single - good things are worth waiting for, Damienites! Aw Sunshine, you're such a sweetie.

No gj, hold that dream! As long as we're all invited for dinner as well. I'll bring the wine OK? *Just have to phone Astrokath and get her to order some lovely S.A wines for us and pay her on arrival.*

Also who knows what awesome songs D could come up with after an exciting (and inspiring) time like the arrival of the Bump. Not necessarily a good thing - songs about how happy I am with with everything do not necessarily sell well. Take Bruce Springsteen - as he himself says, he sold a lot of records in the 70s and 80s when he wasn't real happy with himself, then in the 1990s he got happy and got a family and wrote songs about it and no one bought them and then he watched something sad on television (9/11) and wrote an album about it and everyone loved it and it sold bucketloads, so go figure!

Yeah, I have always noticed the biggest songs seem to come from times of desperation or depression. - Crowded House "Don't Dream It's over" for example. And Phil Collins' brilliant "In the Air Tonight" - look where he went from there!

Now there's no need to mention Phil Collins on a music website! That's a yellow card offence...

Crowded House are great - lovely melodies, beautifully sung...and then you listen to the words and realise Neil Finn's real genius for getting away with wonderfully dark lyrics.
