Not necessarily a good thing - songs about how happy I am with with everything do not necessarily sell well. Take Bruce Springsteen - as he himself says, he sold a lot of records in the 70s and 80s when he wasn't real happy with himself, then in the 1990s he got happy and got a family and wrote songs about it and no one bought them and then he watched something sad on television (9/11) and wrote an album about it and everyone loved it and it sold bucketloads, so go figure! Springsteen    Did I ever mention to you that in the taxi heading to Damien's show at Wrest Point, there was a Springsteen special on the radio? I was thinking at the time that a few people from here would have really enjoyed it. Nice start to that evening indeed. </off topic> |

Did I ever mention to you that in the taxi heading to Damien's show at Wrest Point, there was a Springsteen special on the radio? I was thinking at the time that a few people from here would have really enjoyed it.
