Now Damien has won the idol competition, the real battle begins! make sure that each one of you buys a copy of Night of My Life. I know many of you are download-people - but it is crucial that we support his career by buying the records! I heard that downloading through BigPond will NOT count towards the Aria charts.
We want Damien to be recognised, don't we? If we don't buy the single, we will hurt his chance in getting recognised (see the previous two winners got crucified because the sales were not satisfying). So I'm begging you, buy the single!
If you are concerned with the price, I think there are some stores that sell singles for a mere 2 or 2 dollars. Dick Smith for an example... I think we can start discussing it from now.
So yeah, support Damien! make sure he gets to number 1! Hopefully an Aria too

Really... it doesn't count? What the heck kind of game are they playing letting people download it then?  I won't be downloading it anyway, because I'm a CD-person and all. Price is no object for Damien! Also, it's important to go to an ARIA-accredited store - Sanity and HMV are no good, Target, Big W and I think Kmart are okay? Otherwise it, weirdly, doesn't count for the charts, although I guess he gets the money and all. Someone correct me on all of this if I'm wrong...  |

Power House counts  And they sell for 2 or 3 bucks Im getting 2 copies (maybe 3) sis is getting one and mum said she wants her own D collection! ^^ |

I think we need to research on what stores count towards ARIA. There's a thread on Callea University (been a long time member there) about Aria Charts guidelines. I'm asking their permission to use it here, so let's just wait for a second. But we need to get it done so we know where to buy our singles from

Oh and dont buy more than 2 from one retailer at once or it will count as only one sale

Le Gasp!!! I just realised the Dick Smith Powerhouse in MY area does not count towards ARIA! I am OUTRAGED. That means I have to travel for long time to get to the stores that count. And Dick Smith Powerhouse sells cheap singles *cries*
