How To Get A Signiture:

For those of you who are totally oblivious to knowing how to get one of these special things here are some simple steps to follow so you can get them

[shadow=blue,left,300]GETTING A PICTURE:[/shadow]

Step 1 - Saving your picture that you want to use and upload it to photobucket (its the easiest image storer on the net and its free Photobucket)

Step 2 - Once your picture is uploaded highlight the IMG Code locate underneath your desired picture.

Step 3 - Click on the profile buttom up the top then onto Modify Profile and scroll down to where it says Personal Information and look for signiture (it will be second from the bottom of the personal info section). Paste the IMG code into that section there and press save and you too will have a beautiful picure to look at

[shadow=green,left,300]GETTING SOMETHING BESIDES A PICTURE:[/shadow]This means glitter texts, countdown timers etc

make your graphic as desired. Copy the IMG code other wise known as 'forum hotlink' into your profile - signiture box (Look above to step 3)

[shadow=yellow,left,300]NORMAL TEXT:[/shadow]

In the signiture box of Modify Profile (as above) you can plainly insert text (for those who didnt know)...However you can also make the text vary by using different codes in these brackets [ ]for instance:

*Text size - size=(enter what size) ____ /size
*Text colour - color=(enter colour) ____ /color
*Bold, Italics, Underlined etc - b ____ /b , i ____ /i , u ____ /u etc
*Centering - center ____ /center

NOTE: [/?] will close the variation you just made - make sure that there are no spaces between the [ and the codes

NOTE AGAIN: You only get 400 spaces for your signiture - use however you like.

The total size of the image - its not determined - all i ask is that they are not excessively HUGE because then dial up connection people will take forever lol!

Well I want to put up a 407 x 250 signature and the total size is 43 kb. Is that too big? I was wishing for a bigger one but was wonder what you reckon will be the maximum size?

I got my Photobucket account but had to change my sign in name a bit different to here. I had to add 300 to the end. I got a banner I want but when I try to use it an error comes up that it cant be verified that I downloaded from the correct site

Neski (or anyone else who is around)!

Janny made me a wonderful new siggy, and I uploaded it to my Ranchoweb webhost (the one I usually use for ebay);...got the URL, pasted the URL in the "siggy" box of My Profile...saved it...etc. Then I posted, and all that showed at the bottom was my URL, not the pic.

Plllleaassseee....can anyone tell me where I am stuffing up??

Make sure you chose the third Url down, the one labelled IMG.
