Hi guys
I have a video (wmv format) that I want to upload to photobucket so y'all can see it...its only 8 minutes and 40 seconds long, - 136 meg - and I have the "pro" account that is SUPPOSED to let me upload videos of up to 10 mins in length. However, every time I try to upload it, it won't even connect to start uploading, and the webpage goes to "this page is no longer available" within a few seconds.
I have searched through the site, and can't find anything that would indicate why there would be a problem. Can anyone suggest anything??

Sorry Chris, I have absolutely no idea. I am pretty much computer illiterate.

Thanks, Oz...I have replied now. I was busy mucking around with it. As I said in the email, I did work out what the problem with photobucket is.. basically, the powerpoint was so huge, has 3 songs attached...that even compressed, the video it creates is still 120 MB. It was only when I did a websearch on video hosting, that I was able to find the information that photobucket will only allow uploads of 75 meg (couldn't find that on their actual website, grrr grrr !!!!)..which at least explains why it wouldn't upload. I'm in search of webhosts that WILL let me upload something that large...fingers crossed....

Thanks Janny. Are you able to compress them for uploading, and then they can be opened by whoever wants to view them from the website? If so, how do I do this? (says she who has never zipped a file in her life)

Uh oh... have you ever heard of zipped file? There are softwares that allow the compressing to be done... and you also need the software install in your computer to be able to open it (some example are WinRar or WinZip). I can do it easily though I am not sure whether everyone here knows how to use it actually...

Cristyl, is everything sorted out now? Thanks Neski, yes...it was Janny's google suggestion that proved to be the best. As you can tell, it worked. But thank you for asking.
