Email problem?

Well I tried to register to this forum with my usual email. the8thark@e-garfield
And the forum wouldn't let me use that email. So I registered using a different email. Ok. So I tried to change my email in my profile to the garfield one and still no luck. Does anyone know how to fix this problem so I can change my email in my profile to my Garfield. one?

Sorry Jim that one's a mystery to me. Maybe the board doesn't recognise the e-garfield one as one which is the right type for sigining up to things, sometimes boards are like that and prefer more regular type email servers.

I had a lot of trouble too. It seemed to accept my usual address (which is just through the IP we use) but the account wasn't opened. I had to use my hotmail address.

Yes, Jim and Astrokath, sometimes this board just doesnt accept email addresses from certain service providers.

Its very frustrating...the board just wont send the activation email!
And if you try to change it after you register back to your desired address, you need to reactivate....and it starts all over again.

Apologies for this happening, but its beyond our control.
My advice would be to stick to the email account you managed to register with...we rarely send out emails to the forum anyway!
