HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY DLO

Firstly, thanks so much to Neski and Murf for creating this funtarstic forum. I remember when I first got an inkling that there was a forum was when I was reading Damien's myspace comments in the early days and I noticed one from Neski which mentioned something about a forum and Damien no longer being allowed to post on it. So then I clicked on Neski's myspace page to send her a message asking if there was a forum. I was worried sick she would think I was some weird stalker I was seriously so worried, but I needn't have been. Thank goodness Neski well and truly had D fever and was so friendly and only too happy to point me in the direction of DLO.

It's been fantastic watching the forum take it's first baby steps and grow along with Damien's career. Look at the forum and Damien now!!!

I've formed so many frienships in here that I will cherish for my lifetime. I know I haven't met anyone in person yet, but it feels as if you are all long lost friends and when I do finally get to meet you that it will be like I've known you all my life and there will be none of those awkward first meeting moments. I still can't get over what a lovely bunch the Damienites are. This truly is a place where everyone not only celebrates all of Damien's achievements but also genuinely cares so much for one another as good friends do. As most of you have said, it's like a home away from home. I have so much fun in here!

Thanks so much to all of the staff and also the members. All the effort everyone puts in is truly appreciated. I'll still never forget the time Wombat made that lovely sign saying hi to me and a few other Damienites and got a picture taken with Damien holding it. It's thoughtfulness like this that also makes this forum extra special.

Thanks so much Neski (you are wise beyond your years), Murf, all the staff and everyone else who contributes. You're all gems!

A BIG HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY DLO

I would like to say thankyou to Neski & Murph for creating this place and to all the administrators for just being there and for being so friendly & helpful, I love coming here, I have made a alot of new friends who have something in common with me, loving DAMIEN and his music.
It is great coming onto the forum, where anyone will talk to you at any time, it is a place I will treasure for many years to come.
Thanks also to Damien & his family for letting us into their lives, if we have anything to do with it Damien will have a long and fulfilling career ahead of him with the DLO damienites behind him every step of the way.
(Getting a bit teary now )

Yay, a first birthday, how exciting!

Well I only joined this year but I was a huge fan of Damien's from the day I saw his audition, so when I joined I immediately loved the place. Everyone's really nice and it's so cool to be able to discuss Damien and his music constantly without people telling me to "shut up about Damien!"

Thanks Neski, Murf and the mods, and also the other members, especially Damien, Eils and Angela for making this an awesome place to hang out!

Neski & Murf you are LEGENDS!

The warm and supportive community that was "born" a year ago is an amazing achievement- given life because of Damien's amazing talent and nurtured by wonderful and diverse people -who over the past year have not only followed Damien's joys and successes but have developed strong and lasting friendships.

It's just brilliant that some of us have had a chance to meet in person but even if we haven't, I feel a real bond with my fellow Damienites. I could never have imagined being part of such a community 12 months ago- but here we are!

Thankyou to you, Damien and to your beautiful family for sharing you with us . Your generosity to your fans, especially to the Damienites, is part of what makes you so special to us all.
