That's a really good idea Oz!  And the site looks great.  Are you aiming to eventually copy every bit of D-related stuff we have onto that site? Cos even though that would take ages, it's a good idea because if proboards ever shut down this forum without warning then we would at least have the stuff backed up and sorted into categories. Or if SonyBMG forced us to move to ODL then we'd have all the info from here at the archive site. Anyway, to answer your question - I don't really have time at the moment to help. Although if it's as easy as you make it sound, and we just have to copy and paste stuff over there, then all we'd need is a lot of people to do it, and more people would mean less work for each person. Which means it would take less time. |

It is a fantastic idea Oz. I am too busy here plus I lack any knowledge. I would be the one with my hand up all the time and it wouldn't be to volunteer but to ask questions. Thank you to those who have already volunteered.

Haha, great minds think alike... I was thinking a few weeks ago that we really needed just this sort of archive to help people quickly find the information they want. Looking good!  It looks like plenty of people have already volunteered to help out, but if any more help is needed, at any time, I'd be glad to pitch in.  |

Oz you've done a great job setting it up, it's looking beautiful! Many hands make light work, so it would be great if we could have a few people help with the archive - maybe some people could be in charge of posting pretteh, others in charge of addint new magazines, others doing concert info etc. That way it's just a little bit from everyone. |

BG, dmac and Braffy - No worries. (Braffy I know it gets busy here which is why I decided to make it a Damienite project rather than a DLO Mod one. You've all got enough on your plates here!)  Roxy, Houndsy, Smilingeyes, Holly and Spud - I'd be mad to knock back all this help you know, so what I might do is make up a help sheet on how to add pages etc and then you can each help out when you've got the time to move bits and pieces over. If the help sheet doesn't actually help.. I guess it just means you're off the hook. LOL! Spud - yep, the idea is to move as much across as possible before all the updaters get jack of it and we all give up.  Kami - Was that a clear offer of help from you or are you afraid of not being technically minded, too? If you're confident you'd be able to pick it up please let me know, otherwise you can wait for the help sheet too. Either way is cool with me!  And finally - great minds Shims! ;D I mentioned the idea of spreading all the work around to Myst the other day which is why the more helpers the better. Many hands make light work, for sure! |

Just to put in my 2 cents, I'd be inclined to assign people specific jurisdictions that they're responsible for, otherwise I imagine it could become more work figuring out what has and hasn't been archived.
