NEW FORUM CHANGES

Hi guys

As you may have noticed we have made a few changes to the board. We have all worked hard for the last few weeks trying to get this right and hope you all like it. ;D

The new Christmas banner of Hyperrunes is beautiful and we felt it would be nice to add a nice snow background to it too. Any of the banners that entered the competition and had won would of been fantastic as the forums banner. Well done ladies

One of the major changes to the board is the changing of some of the categories.

Here is the layout.

As you can see, we have removed Fan Encounters from the Members Lounge, and have placed it in a Sub-board in Appearance Alerts. The Fan Encounters still has all our lovely threads and our gushings/excitement etc for you all to read. It can only be viewed by members when they log in, so everything in there is still private to members only.

Our concert/event reports will now be written up in The Appearance Alert board so that Damien and his family have easy access to our reviews and squeeeeeeing etc.
Any personal stuff that goes on at any events can still be posted in the Concert & Appearance thread.(password needed, Which by the way will be getting changed soon)

The other change is Action Stations is now in the Members area.

The Moderators Lounge, New members and News and Updates is now at the top of the forum. We felt that any New members that wanted to say Hi, wouldn't be missed.
This also applies to the Updates, Information and Assistance. Alot of people miss importante updates etc as this has always been at the bottom of the forum.

We have also added some new emoticons for you all to play with! and added some Christmas ones too!

Could members please re-read the guidelines to the forum, as we have also made a few adjustments in their as well.


Last but not least, A big Thank you to all members who have made this year a fantastic year, not only with their continued support of Damien but also to DLO. This place just wouldn't be the same without all the funloving Damienites who share the D Love with each other.

Cheers Roxy and all the staff who took part in the restructure - lol having done a major rearrangement of the board once before, I know how much work it is

I like the look of the new layout, it was always a problem how to do the concerts/appearances and fan encounters areas as they overlap so much, it's nice to have them in a spot where they relate to each other

Let it note: That is this Christmas skin is too bright for the majority of you, we may be able to tweak the colours so they are a fraction less blinding.
