I had a bad car accident where I ended up with a broken neck and was off work for a year. (Someone hit me from behind doing 80k when I was stopped at a traffic light) I was nervous driving again after that, but downright terrified of anyone who followed me too closely! All these years later, I can still have bad days. christyl I was hit from behind at a traffic light too but fortunately he was going about half the speed and I just ended up with severe whiplash. I can't imagine what 80k must have been like. I know what you mean about not liking people following too closely. *shudder* Winter, that's a great story. It's always hard to get back on the horse after a traumatic experience and the longer you wait the harder it gets but the satisfaction when you do break through is tremendous. Damien has helped so many of us in so many different ways and not just because of his music. |
