I live in the sticks and I've been waiting to hear Damien on our local radio station since his win on Sunday night. There hasn't been a single word about him so I phoned the station today and asked them when they would be playing his winning single, explaining that it had gone gold within 72 hours. The DJ I spoke to is great but she admitted that she didn't watch Idol this year because she just can't stand the judges, she reckons they're idiots! ;D She also admitted that they don't have Damien's single yet so I gave her a rundown on where to buy it so that he will receive Aria votes. 
I've also asked that the B side of Damien's single be played as well. Now all I have to do it wait. Things move slowly in the country!
If your local radio station isn't playing Damien's single at the moment, give them a call, email them or whatever and suggest that they start playing it NOW!!!
