I am absolutely loving these songs. I have my headphones on while I sit here and I get goosebumps with every song.
The Christmas Song has always been a favourite of mine and Damien does a beautiful version. This Christmas is a gem of a song, the lyrics are so heartfelt. Well done Damien and Eils, you write beautiful music together!

I couldn't get home quick enough to put it on. I love these songs - just beautiful. I will definitely be packing Damien and will be listening to him Christmas morning whilst I spend it in the outback. |

I so have to get this cd before Christmas, so it'll have to be my present to me!    But, hubby keeps bringing up that awful B word lately - you know, the one that rhymes with "fudge it"... which is what I'll have to do to get away with buying my 3rd WWL... ? He's starting to suspect I already have 2 of everything so far altho' they're located in different places just to confuse him  Lol, we really do have an open & honest relationship as equal partners... except when it comes to pretending I'm sane & pretending I'm NOT obsessed & pretending I'm not still on DLO Actually, that's half the fun ...  Are there snippets on the Sony BMG website? There weren't before. That'll tide me over a bit.   btw, They're at JB Hi-Fi, nicely set out in the popular music section with 2 medium posters showing the postion. They're selling it for the same price as the original album! I thought a few should be in the Christmas music section too so moved a couple to the front of their stand...  |

I got my xmas edition of WWL yesterday - totally spellbinding! mesmerising! out of this world! Damiens song THIS CHRISTMAS gives me goosebumps everytime i listen to it, even on repeat hahaha and i absolutely LOVE his version of OH HOLY NIGHT- its my favourite xmas song, alongside THIS CHRISTMAS now  |

I have FINALLY got my copy of the Christmas edition and am listening to the bonus disc for the first time as I post... all I can say so far is WOW, this is nothing like I expected, and I was expecting it to be great! I almost didn't recognise Damien's voice for a bit on I'll Be Home For Christmas... he really brought out something different in it that is just gorgeous. Love the simple piano accompaniment. At this rate I will be a little puddle on my seat by the end of the five songs... just beautiful and very, very classy. ;D |

Thanks Smiley & LD. I'll be heading off soon to buy an iTunes gift card for myself... unless I pass the real cd on the way I found that the burnt copies of my cd's which I use in the car stop working properly after about 3 plays. So, burning the iTunes may go the same way for me. Decisions, decisions!... or really, "Obsession, obsession!" |
