Hi All

Ok, here is the bad news. Unless someone from Ireland taped the show and posts it to YouTube, it looks like the video won't be loaded on the Late Show site for another week.
Last week's 15 December show clips only just went up.

The good news (such as it is) is that the Late Late Show have announced a big competition - for a family of 4 to go to Australia! So any Irish rellies should enter! See the details on

That DVD will sure get a workout between now and January 8(when Damo, Eileen and Jarvis are back in OZ).

Just looking at the clips of the current The Late Late Show I have to say the host these days (Pat Kenny) is a right plank. He has none of the "down to Earth love the people, have a laugh" as Gaybo (Gay Byrne). Gaybo will always be the best- Pat Kenny got rid of the owl (wtf?). I have attached a couple of clips from You Tube so you have an idea what it's like...the first one is of a "gatecrasher". The second is from The Dubliners 25th Anniversary with Gaybo himself (U2 presented him with a Harley in 99 as a thanks for giving them a leg up early in their career). Enjoy =) PS (bats eyelids at Michelle) Did you go to the recording? How did it go??? I text my Aunty to make sure she was home and watching it.

I just had a little check on the Late Late Show site and noticed *horrors* that neither of the music segments from last week have clips, only the interviews.

*shudders at thought of a vocal group of Damienites going ballistic at notion of a no-show on the Late Show posting*

Yes, it has gone to air. The link on www.rte.ie should go up tomorrow evening (Monday, Ireland time) BUT it being a public holiday (I assume) it may not.

Had hoped Irishangel would let us know about it but no word.

If Damien or Angela log on for the ARIA Charts show results tonight, I'll try and ask them.
