No celebration   I thought it may of perhaps been a slightly shorter show tonight...which isnt a complaint, it was all superb. One more thing...the only sign to me that something may be amiss, apart from maybe a couple less numbers, was Never Meant to Fail. Dont know how he sang it in Sydney, but tonight he did a wonderful version without any of those huge powerful notes he did on the Idol version...I wondered, knowing what we know  But I gotta say, there was nothing outwardly wrong with his voice at all. Mister Hawt Pirate let loose a couple of absolutely awesome notes in NOML and Nessun Dorma, that just sent a shockwave through the audience...you could actually hear jaws drop |

Oh, and right at the start of the show, when he discovered the first rose (trilly , KLD and selestial all threw them)..he picked it up, studied it, and started to sing something...acapella, just a few lines..something about a rose, wish I knew the song title! Completely beautiful unrehearsed moment  |

Never Meant to Fail is a real fav of mine - I wonder what the changes were compared to Sydney?
But how wonderful that Nessun Dorma made the crowd gasp - that happened in Sydney too.... the memories eh OzBrat!
