Oh that is so great about KLD going backstage. I am just picturing her now. What about you Winter? Was Damien pleased to finally meet you?  braff...backstage was a bit surreal. I think the others will have better recaps than me. Lets just say I let the team down.....in the tart stakes  I spent the whole journey backstage praying to the gods of Cool and Casual to grant me some freakin cred and stop me from turning into a crazy fangirl..... alas it wasnt to be, in fact they toyed with me and turned me into brainless speechless idiot. For example: D: So, did you have a good night? Me:er.....yes. I swear to god, one word answers and a stupid girn are all that I was graced with  Oh, and our dear D doesnt have a clue who I am   , but he definitely has seen all the entries...and is particularly taken with the board game  In fact, he let us know that the Idol released one was...well....crap, and that the one made for him is fabulous...and should be sold ;D |

Oh, and right at the start of the show, when he discovered the first rose (trilly , KLD and selestial all threw them)..he picked it up, studied it, and started to sing something...acapella, just a few lines..something about a rose, wish I knew the song title! Completely beautiful unrehearsed moment  OMG WAS IT THE ROSE LIKE WHAT WESTLIFE HAVE ON THEIR LATEST ALBUM??? |

It was just a line or too, but thats the only moment I wish I had a camera  Really, I will have to put a rose smiley on the board, wont I? He took the roses 'home' at the end of the show...we forgot to give him the rest of the big bunch (selestial, bless her! ), so we gave them to Dianne to give to him (we tried to get her backstage, but at one stage they were only going to let 2 through...so we were lucky to get 4!)...and she did at stage door ;D |

I know I've become a bit obsessed. But the guy is talented and bloody beautiful. I've never been in to the "hawtness" of Damien like the rest of you  Sorry you won't be seeing him Kami  have you started his forum yet..... No not yet. I will be soon. I'll let you know! |

sorry..its a bit stream of conciousness here folks.... D was very apologetic about the stuff ups regarding the backstage pass comp...we of course protested and told him not to worry, but he was very clear that he was very sorry to everyone who had been let down. He was very earnest and very insistent, bless his little cotton socks. He told us that not only has he seen them all, they are in his room and that David flew down especially to deliver them. He was really very sorry.. I tried to tell him not to worry a second more about it, but my mouth-brain relationship still wasnt working, god knows what came out of my mouth |
