Lets just say I let the team down.....in the tart stakes   I spent the whole journey backstage praying to the gods of Cool and Casual to grant me some freakin cred and stop me from turning into a crazy fangirl..... - hah - how many of us have been ignored by those gods this week   alas it wasnt to be, in fact they toyed with me and turned me into brainless speechless idiot. For example: D: So, did you have a good night? Me:er.....yes. Yes - this is what they do... at least we know these gods are consistent....  this effect is known as "teh Damien coma"... it is prone to strike just after concerts when one has lost all sense and is usually combined with late nights, on-site huts and group frenzy... I seriously don't believe that - he asked after you at lunch - so I know that's not the case. I swear that's the truth. Wonderful! And there's a real Idol boardgame? Wonders if D knows it's a shimmy picture in the middle of that board game.... |

sorry..its a bit stream of conciousness here folks.... D was very apologetic about the stuff ups regarding the backstage pass comp...we of course protested and told him not to worry, but he was very clear that he was very sorry to everyone who had been let down. He was very earnest and very insistent, bless his little cotton socks. He told us that not only has he seen them all, they are in his room and that David flew down especially to deliver them. He was really very sorry.. I tried to tell him not to worry a second more about it, but my mouth-brain relationship still wasnt working, god knows what came out of my mouth  Poor Damo. Maybe someone should tell him he can make it up to us by sending Mark to my place for a day? Oh wait. This had nothing to do with Mark, did it? Well...I think hes met quite a few fans recently There was no recognition, but its totally cool  However, I may have offended teh Idol....I believe I may be one of the few fans backstage who have turned down a photo.... after Kris had hers (its sooooooooooo cute, they just gripped each other!!!!), he motioned to me...but I just didnt want a photo. I mean, its just not me! I dont collect autographs either  anyway, when I declined, he sort of gave me a shocked look, to which I tried to say "its enough for me just to see her (Kris) get one"...and made him take another with her  Sorry D, it wasnt personal!  |

I'm sure he'll understand - he was probably just wondering if he'd misunderstood you because most people do want photos, autographs and such. I personally don't really want/need a photo with him either - I like pictures of him much better without me in them. |
