Andy, George Michael does a really nice mellow version of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, it sounds great if you'd like to hear how a guy singing it sounds, you might like to check it out  I absolutely love hearing a man sing that song, it's a fav of mine too ok well Houndsy and Morgs have absolutely destroyed any chance I have left of not cheating further...  So, I also vote for "Jealous Guy" (love the Bryan Ferry version), "And I Love Her" - The Beatles (ahhhh I love the film version of that in A Hard Day's Night) and I've been wanting "Throw Your Arms Around Me" - H&C since we all started making requests threads as it is - earlier this year I sat right in front of Luka Bloom in a tiny gig and he sang the acoustic version of that - I absolutely nearly melted into the floor  , it's a deadly song done acoustically. I've also heard Neil Finn do that one live and love how he says "kiss you in a thousand and sixty five places" instead of just "four places" - wooo go Neil!  Thanks Shims, I had a listen , it was pretty good seeing as I am not a George Michael fan. I think Damien could do it and all of us would just melt on the floor.  And I love "Jealous Guy" too, excellent choice! |

On topic fairy is here!!  you guys are totally terrible, can't just play a game can you!  we have other threads for discussion regarding Song choices. I had hoped that this thread would just be an easy way for Damien to see the most popular songs we would choose for him and our different preferences if we had the option of picking his setlist, in a nice easy format for him to read if he decided to. ;D |

On topic fairy is here!! you guys are totally terrible, can't just play a game can you! we have other threads for discussion regarding Song choices. I think it was Ange that suggested Insatiable by Darren Hayes. Just been watching it on YouTube and I must say...I would LOVE to hear Damien sing this....his falsetto would sound stunning. What a beautiful and sexy song!! |

Have I done this yet? Looking back through the posts I don't think I have. I've done it that many times in my head though, and I keep changing my mind! Shims I have Neil Finn doing that song on a cd somewhere but I haven't heard it yet! I'll ahve to now! ;D |
