As the champagne wears off the memory is coming back -------- on stage Damo mentioned Celebration from Idol and how all he managed to do that week was lose weight from the dancing around --- so he was going to bring out a workout video --- all the work out routines would be done to the music of "Celebration". You would swear he has spent a lot of time here!!!! - oh too fantastic - a workout video to Celebration - love it!!!!!!!! Trilly, lol, I just wonder how many of us have zoned out and started doing this ;D while having a chat

Happy Land is right! One nice thing I'll post before I forget. The support act guy, Sam (who I really liked, by the way - ten seconds into his first song my mother and I looked at one another and said, 'He's good.') commented something to the effect of how it was really nice to see a great singer and nice guy like Damien drawing a crowd like the one at the Casino. The audience really warmed to him after that. ;D That workout video comment was hilarious! He also commented on the huge screens on either side of the stage and how he was glad he couldn't see them because he'd be constantly checking out how he looked - which set off a round of people yelling out that he looked great. Oh, and when he was talking about Celebration, my sister had to be the person who yelled out, "Do it!" Which he didn't, but he did do the pogo-stick jump for us. I also noticed, watching back one of my videos, that during one of the more upbeat songs (Beautiful or High and Dry, I think) he was doing a variant of the Botty Belter.

If it's just me paying way too much attention to stuff I shouldn't be paying attention to, you're all going to tease me mercilessly, aren't you?

A new guy Sam who sounds like Mark Wilkinson, but not as good looking or as good overall was the support.

I'll take bets now on whether Kami is going to be the next one to do an OzBrat and fall in love with Damien's support act - Oh wow Kami you got the pogo stick dance!!! And the Botty Belter! Damien must have been reading that Care Committee thread very carefully

No, I will not fall in love with the support act, thank you very much, although he was cute in a nerd-ish kind of way, just the way I like 'em. Did anyone mention that we ran into him in the elevator on the way to GJ's room? As we were all getting out (and he was still going up) I whispered, "Someone go back and grab him and drag him with us!" In retrospect, I don't think it was that quiet a whisper, or that the elevator doors were completely closed...

Lol, Damien's support acts are going to have to be warned first before signing up - espescially about in lifts!

Wait, I should explain this question because it makes Mark look bad. LOL Mark was entertaining because his music was just awesome (of what I saw on the night, lol) - I actually have the tool in mine who a few of us saw at the Alex Lloyd gig. It's his kind of "all over the stage" entertaining I was referring to.
