Damien will perform at a concert in Melbourne at Albert Park on Friday March 16 2007 as part of the leadup entertainment to the Australian Formula One Grand Priz on March 18. Added -  Aussie Idols to perform at the Grand Prix Wednesday, 21 February 2007 No doubt you’ve heard the news that Grammy Award winning rocksters Wolfmother, together with New Zealand trio Evermore will perform live at The Entertainment Stage presented by Triple M. But our huge entertainment line-up just keeps on growing. Australian Idol winner, Damien Leith, is one of the latest big name artists to be added to the bill. Damien’s debut single “Night of my Life” has spent 12 weeks in the ARIA Top 20, with his album “The Winners Journey” selling almost 300,000 copies. The Irish crooner will put on a show to remember when he performs tracks from the album at the Grand Prix on Friday, 16 March at 12.20pm. |

Plus I also wondered why 'they' keep referring to Damien as a crooner! He's so much more than that!
Even if the pre entertainment isn't seen globally, the grand prix is a big draw card so lots of international people will see him; yes? It is only a matter of time before Damien's a household word! *Yay*
