Awww thanks Terri. The pic of Holly and Madison is not the best one but the look on Madi's face just sums up her day Between Carlene and Shims and Crazy, there are some absolutely stunning photos here. Hope the video I took turns out ok and will work out how to upload it. Hubby is super busy at work today so hopefully this evening we can take a proper look at it. Ah ladies you've really outdone yourselves tonight! I've gone into total meltdown. Carla, your pic is absolutely gorgeous and your girls are so beautiful. I love the look on Maddison's face and can totally relate to it. ;D All I'm thinking is that I want a set of wire cutters NOW! That pic of Damien peering threw the wire fence with the *coughchesthairhappeningcough* is cruel! I have to free him and protect him so that this doesn't happen again!

Blowers Daughter was certainly special - it was worth the trip into town and dealing with a seven month old boy who decided it was all too crowded and noisy to cope with...we actually moved further away for WOWY and the sound quality, bizzarely enough, was better just outside the fencing on the grass by the fountain...

Hey there ODT - I was wondering what the sound quality would be like further away because upfront it wasn't too crashhot - how did the crowd echo & singing sound from further back - it certainly was rather deafening closer to the front.
Also - I wonder - were you responsible for the rugby-like chant of "DAMO"? Ha.

It was loud down the front! But it was a good atmosphere. Hope you enjoyed your day ODT.

Yeah, it was good - I got up near the front on my own for awhile and the sound was great but then from about the first trees back it was a very muddy mix. Once you went right back the music sound was superb again, very clear, and you couldn't make out what that lame announcer was saying, which made it even better. The crowd response was good from the back - a lot of passers by were stopping and listening. Blowers Daughter was brilliant and Fall at your Feet in WOWY sounded great too. Can't believe he sang NOML again though...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I got to hear Damo (and no, not me with the chant!), plus Ireland Calls, Fields of Athenry, Fairytale of New York and a few other essentials, so I was happy...the boy coped well once we got away from the crowds - he likes Damien's music so that's a plus.

We all had so much fun didn't we Carla! Monday is a very busy day for me and I have a dinner meeting as well tonight as usual, so it may be a day or 2 before I can get back to the videos but hopefully one of us will be able to post soon Yours will be closer Carla, I can't wait to see yours! I was looking at my 2 versions from the 2 camera of The Blowers Daughter again - my trouble is that some girl came right in front of the camera DURING THE SONG, she's not in shot but you can hear her yakking away, she met up with a friend who was in front of us!!! Of all timing! And her yakking is on both the versions, though BF and I were standing a couple of people apart. So I think I might have a lot of work to do to get this video spliced into a version with as little interruptions to the sounds as possible. I've got an awful feeling it will be impossible to get a really good version, but at least you can hear it, and I think that's what we'll want in the end. Oh wow, just thinking again how good that song sounded - I loved the high middle part - and at the end Damien went for it - it's great guys! Just a shame about those people jumping in front of the camera, BF did his best to cut them out of the shot. So glad you're enjoying all the photos guys, I was thrilled seeing so many of us with cameras and knowing between us we would have some nice pretteh to bring "home"

ODT if i'd known you were there i would have come over and said hi was a good day wasn't it? it was very loud by the stage. Oz pointed out that we should have brought our lap tops so we could 'talk' with each other, as we couldn't hear a thing anyone was saying. my poor little one was shell shocked by the level of sound.

Pity about the yakking shims , but I, amongst others, really want to hear TBD, so anything you can splice together will be gratefully recieved! Sounds like you needed to be up the back to appreciate the sound best. I think that happened at some of the concert gigs too.

Yeah, I was wandering around peering at various people and wondering if I had been "talking" to them here recently!
