I'm in the same spot Morgs, have never really wanted paytv until this week! Hopefully the MTV channel on the phone will have it, that's my only option of seeing it live. You know - I have absolutely no idea who Lily Allen is... or The Lost Gospel or Ne Yo and I only know Teddy Geiger's name because Mark said it on Idol once about Dean I think.  Shims, Lily Allen is a really popular English singer, and Ne-Yo is American, I think. I've never heard of The Lost Gospel or Teddy Geiger..  Lily Allen sings Smile.........and Ne You is also a songwriter for numerous others he wrote ---- Beyonces Irreplacable..... |

If you haven't heard Lily Allen's music, you've probably heard her bitching about other artists to make herself appear more important. I think she does more of that than singing.  *ahem* Anyway, on the promo for Rove they mentioned he'd be talking to Hamish and Andy live from the AVMAs. So anyone without pay TV might want to watch that to see if they show or say anything...  |

yeah, seems Lily Allen has a kind of love/hate reaction. She seems quite outspoken; I actually have a soft spot for her work, mainly I think because I was a fan of her Dad, who is an actor, Keith Allen. Watched his work since the 1990's, but he himself has a rebellious nature, so guess who takes after him, eh.

Ooh, did not know that about her father. I don't mind a bit of outspoken myself, but I just feel she takes it too far. I don't think it will help her career in the long run either. I'm interested to see how she goes in the future though...

For those of us who don't have Foxtel or Pay TV: will someone be posting a video of Damien's performance and hopefully him winning some awards on youtube or somewhere else? That would be great....thanks!  Or, will MTV be streaming the awards live on their website, which I can watch? I will be posting hopefully if all the technology holds up....... |

I swear they're messing with the order of things though. Didn't Damien perform before Best Male and Best Female were announced? I hope they're not going to cut anything out... :-\
