What I have gathered is that there is a show on (Company) and then they have a second section which is the Up Close and Musical on a Friday night featuring 4 artists. On July 27, Damien is one of the 4. That is the night that I am in Brisbane revving up for the Damienfest.

The thread about Damien's love of musicals is here So what does he have to do? Is it on tv?

Wow sounds like a nice event, I hope Damien does it! It seems to be a supper club style musical evening of about 1 hour late at night, wine included.

Can someone explain this to me, I don't get why it's "bizarre"?

Can someone explain this to me, I don't get why it's "bizarre"? It's bizzare because it is mainly for Theatre Performers.........

Hmmm, well D did start out doing musicals at school. I'd love to see this! I'm surprised he would stay out late at night with the new baby though.

Oh, I just thought he would want to be at home looking after him if he cries, but I guess Mum can do that, and I'm told most men suffer nocturnal deafness anyway. Don't mind me, I'm not a parent so I don't know these things!

Yes, I've no doubt D suffers from male nocturnal deafness too As long as Mum's around...the wheels won't fall off the home front... *Still hopes D does this...*

I personally don't think the occasional few hours away at night would be a problem for any new parent. Especially if it was 'work' related. It would only be if the disappearances were overdone. I'd not countenance the the latter. I think D will be fabulous.
