 the joys of internet radio - I lost my connection half way and the rest of what I heard was jumping all over the place  I did hear a bit though, and it was nice hearing Damien!  Didn't hear 22 steps, the last thing I heard was the DJ congratulating him on the birth of Jagger. We've seen some of that headbanger footage - remember during ideol they showed Damien with really long hair banging his head to music and in a band, he looked very young - I think it was shown during the final.

Funnily enough, I put on 2Day FM in Sydney channel hopping in case I could hear it here - and they were playing NOML at the same time! I can never get tired of NOML, it takes me right back each time I hear it to going to the Sunrise show and hearing TWJ for the first time and all the excitement of those days.

Well, he could certainly 'try again' if it were me!! Mind you, I can't imagine any circumstance that would have me reject D if he were mad enough to woo a woman twice his age and size! LOL

LOL I never understood that line - the poor guy tortures himself for months it seems to knock on the door but wouldn't try again if it didn't go well? I don't believe he'd give up that easy! |

I wonder if he feels she's gone through a lot with the former b'friend so he's not about to harass her? I think he may be indicating he'd feeling too vulnerable to chance another try. I'm not sure what was in the writer's mind though.

Knowing Damien, he'd be too polite to tr again, he's such a gentleman he'd make sure he left no mud on the rug and carefully lock the door behind him  When the DJ said "good luck with your new album, congratulations on fatherhood", I thought for a sec that was the name of the album! That was a nice night cap! I'm off to bed!  |

To be random... maybe the line 'I will never try again' is part of what he thinks she will say, and not his response? It does make a lot more sense that way - being with someone who would deny your wish for an orange raincoat would kinda poison you against relationships in general. But either way of looking at it is interesting. Maybe someone can ask Damien how he interpreted it?
