92.9 are running a competition to win tickets to see Damien at a Sunday Session on July 22nd!!! That means he will be in Perth in less than two weeks!!! EEEEEeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!  DAMIEN LEITH
Tickets for you and three friends to see Damien Leith perform songs from his soon to be released album, including his new single "22 Steps", live at the Rivervale Hotel at the 92.9 Sunday Session Sunday July 22nd.
This competition runs from Monday 9 July 2007 – Monday 16 July 2007. There are 100 passes for four available. Winners are drawn at 9am Monday 16 July 2007 and notified by email.
Please read the Contest Terms and Conditions before entering.Only WA residents can enter! I have already asked all my friends if I can enter for them! I so hope I win, if not I will have to camp out in front of the hotel anyway!!!!! This will definitely be an up close and personal event! Wish me luck and alert any other WA Damienites!!  |

Thanks everyone, I appreciate your support!! If my friends and I all win, we will have at least 40 tickets!!! That will be an interesting situation!! I will let you know the outcome after next monday!!

OH really!! I promised my daughter that I would take her to see Telethon this year, so I will make sure that I am there when D is performing.
We are getting so spoilt here in Perth!!! I wonder if he wants a local tour guide.....

Hey hey hey.... I am going to see Damien on Sunday!!!After all these months of waiting for Damien to land on Western soil, he will be here on sunday and I have tickets to go and see him!!! I entered a competition on 92.9 (local Perth radio station that plays the Top30) to win tickets. I entered for myself and I also entered for at least 12 of my friends, with their permission! The competition was drawn on Monday at 9am and it said that you would be notified by email soon after! I went away for a few days from Sunday, so found a local telecentre on monday afternoon and checked my email, but no sign of any winning tickets! My friends all texted me with the same sad news!! But I had plan B - Carla!! Our faithful go-between promised to contact Champo if I was not lucky enough to win some tickets, to see if there was anything he could do. On our way home, while visiting the special enviro tourist spot of the Pinnacles (about 2hrs north of Perth) I received a text from Carla telling me that Damien  and David had agreed to leave two tickets at the door for me . This is me celebrating at the Pinnacles (please excuse chubby tummy and feral hair!)  Two or so hours later, I returned home to find four tickets to Damien's concert in my letter box. I had won after all!!!!!! It looks like none of my friends won, so I feel very lucky!!!!! So I get to take three friends with me and enjoy a sunday session with Damien on Sunday afternoon, 4pm to 8pm. I assume he's not playing for all that time, but it will be great anyway!!! It is an invitation only event for the radio station, they were giving away 400 tickets. Damien will be doing an acoustic performance at the Rivervale hotel!!!! Never been there, but I imagine it will be nice and up close and personal!!!!  How lucky am I!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D  ;D So thank you so much Carla for your hard work!!! Keep posted for a full recap on Sunday night! I don't know if it is playing live, but you might want to check out www.929.com.au from 4pm WST on Sunday to see if it is being simulcast. And yes, I am very excited!!!!!!

Congratulations too- lucky duck! You'll have the whole of DLO hanging out waiting for a report so make sure you don't go into teh coma and forget to remember EVERYTHING!
