You both get better reactions and names than I get I'm so fortunate. My daughter (38 yoa) likes D too and thinks he's a wonderful talent and guy. Although she's not the big fan I am, and because I'm a techy neophyte, she sets the timer for me to save everything regarding D, ordered my 22 steps ringtone (and is still working or sorting out my getting it), ordered my signed CD recently and listens to me talking about what he says in his interviews, etc. My sister listens too but I don't go overboard telling the whole family stuff, even though my nephew and his fiance think he's great. I think I've surprised my family (except daughter) with my fangirly demeanor given that I've never been like this before.

It's funny isn't it LD! I'm the same, my kids think I've gone mad! I think my 11 year old son is worried about me, he comes in when I'm on the computer and just gives me a very strange, sympathetic expression! My husband asks me when he will get his wife back, and when he sees me on the computer, he says, "off to do more Damien worshipping are we?". You forget sometimes that they didn't know you when you were a teenager - and that's what I feel like now! I've hardly eaten since meeting Damien on Sunday - still got butterflies in my stomach (which bodes really well for my diet!!!)

Frankly, I wasn't even like this in my teen years! I'm just enjoying the ride. It's a good thing for me cuz I'm finding more of the fun side of myself.

I am so glad that there are others like me, my 30yr son just laughs at me and my 17yr old just shakes his head and walks off saying " not Damien AGAIN Mum" I think they are both just making allowances for me and think that i have finally lost it and gone over the edge. My husband thinks i have just visiting rights Oh Well they just don't know what they are missing!!!!!

Ditto guys- kids think I'm loony and rib me about coming online all the time to talk to my Damien friends ;D (they have the misguided notion that we talk about Damien all the time... pfft! it's only 99% of the time - what do they know!); my best friend thinks it's cute and lets me rave ; DH (who loved D on Idol) alternates between being teasingly indulgent to thinking I've lost the plot and should get a grip!! The best thing about coming on here is there are so many people who feel just the same, and like me have never done this sort of thing before. So I can't be mad can I - I mean there are others out there just like me!!
