Wow.

Just watched it 3 times. I loved the more powerful parts - that always got my heart racing! and the gorgeous guitar accompaniment... big sigh!!

And the hair looks still sooo good. phew

The interview and performance were lovely, except I couldn't find my special Damien tape so I didn't get tape it. The interview and photos worked well with their topic for today "What have you given up for love".

I have learnt that I do not have the discipline to just listen to Damien on youtube as background muzak (I keep sneaking a peek and then can't work - I'm at home... solely irresponsible for self! so I have to switch him off ARGH! (screams in pain!)
This I must do now. (but song's not finished yet...)

Braffy, I have however told hubby that I will be going to Damien's concert in Sydney... but he's invited if he wants to tag along. He groaned at the price especially since we'll bring the 2 kids! I love my man but I'll be so much more uninhibited without him (I usually hide my DL obsession from them- pretend I'm working).

That's ok. It'll be my delicious secret.

I noticed he'd lost teh curls on the other vid that was put up the other day but I'm sure I've noticed the darker colour of his hair before.

Wow wasn't it great this morning! I loved hearing 22 Steps acoustically, it reminded me of seeing Damien do that initial acoustic version of NoML on the Sunrise show. Funtarstic new interpretation

- oh & I love Damien's hair short and sleek btw

Thank you gj. The interview was great, Damien is just so relaxed and even gave us a bit of Finnigan. ;D His hair does appear to be darker but it looked like a lot of gel or something had been applied. I wish whoever is styling his hair would leave it alone and I want the curls back!

Damien's live version of 22 Steps was absolutely brilliant and it is still buzzing in my head. I love it! I can't wait to buy the single on Saturday!

That's the best Damo interview I've seen in a while! Larry is great, go him and D cracking jokes together!
Loved the photos - we were treated to Damien in a singlet , Damien and Eils in the mountains, outside the Taj Mahal (romantic!) and dressed up as pirates! he so put that one in there just for us! That was brilliant! He looked like he was having fun, and so did Larry, actually ;D

And I am in love with the acoustic 22 steps, it was so beautiful, i love how he tweaked the tune in the second verse, and how he gradually built it up, great guitar playing and awesome voice, every time he hit a high note you can hear it echo! ;D

Can we get an mp3 of this? Was anyone actually there?

OMG you're right Hyp!!! The pirate pics!!! Oh good on Damien, how funny I was too far back from the tv at the time to realise that's what those were. They were all really nice pics!

I don't think anyone from here went Hyp, I think it was a studio appearance this time, not like Sunrise where they invite the public? Sunrise will be great, coming up soon!

Did anyone see the start of the show when they were running down what was going to be on the show today? They mentioned Damien then mentioned about whether video clips these days are suitable for young children..and showed a clip of a scantily clad woman in fishnet stockings and Kylie said "now, you wouldn't see Damien dressed like that" It was really funny!
