It wears me out just watching Darren.  He's a real champ. And he's filming another concert DVD... yay!  Katie Noonan next... and they're going to make us wait a long time for Damien, I bet.  |

God its so slow here ........being 30 min behind ........so D has not been on yet in Sydney .....this means he is still a way away for me ............I also thought they were going to announce duet with D and Katie.........maybe thats what D has up his sleeve........
I thought Darren Hayes well...................was weird and I like him........but I thought he had a helium shot before singing that!!

damn...for a minute there I thought he was going to do "Beautiful"! Its a lovely song, and he does it so SO well....(that was an absolutely breathtaking vocal  , recording quality, current Idols take note  ) but why, WHY...when there are so many great originals on the album, does 'Songbird' get so many airings at TV/ public appearances? I just think, as an Idol graduate, he has to be really careful about being associated with covers. |

I love his version of Songbird. Squeeeeeeeeeeee. Did you notice how deathly quiet the audience was while he was singing. It was awesome. I kept thinking too, that I hoped this years lot were taking notes. Damien just keeps proving how boring and bad the current crop are.
I would have loved to hear him sing Shine Like the Sun to try and cash in on it being played on Channel 7. There may still be people who don't realise it is his song.
