Nuffy is finally back with the video!!!! OMG OMG OMG    Sorry to be MIA but I did some Chrissie shopping then when I got home hubby had to do business on the computer all night grrrr! At least you had Morgs report... oh yeah, baby! What a night. I'm so glad Morgs could make it and got her cd signed. There were a lot of people and more kept arriving, lured by teh voice.  Poor Nuffy. the weight of the forum is on her shoulders/camera/ability to upload etc.  You're not kidding, braff, about the weight of DLO... I had the camera hoisted up fairly high to avoid the balloons and heads of people infront - but just as well I've been to the gym or the shakes would've been worse. And yes, the camera alos got affected by teh coma (not surprising in my hands, eh Shims?). What looked clear on the screen seems to have gone rather blurry on the tv - but still some gorgeous footage - how could it not be with the subject?? Anyway, the good news is YES I have it ALL documented including a lovely Hello to DLO when he came up to talk to me before the show. And I will get it uploaded for you ... eventually...  Lol, he's been reading the posts and said something about "you have to switch the camera on...uh, no, something about a usb cable?"  (note to self: do evening class for video filming!) Anyway, Damien was on for about 30 minutes until the  PA system got teh coma real bad and they then went on to signings. He started with Wicked Game - oh so sublime. and the audience was really appreciative. He held those notes so long that people were bursting to applaud before he even finished the note. ...to be continued... |

sorry, gotta go on and off - school kids... taxi etc. Just quickly: Wicked Game (gorgeous!) Hallelujah -Damien says it's his favourite. Big crowd pleaser Interview with MC All I Want I You - 2 mins into it the PA dies... Damien tells me later he was going to do "This Christmas" to finish off!!! I'm so glad I got the cd and played it as soon as I got in the car  Thank you Damien for a lovely mini-show! One message I'll repeat in the the Channel V thread: Damien asked specially that I mention to you that his Channel V appearance will be on the Monday AFTER Schoolies ends. (Does anyone know when that is? Damien and I didn't know if it's this or next Monday). The segment it will be on is called "What you Want"How silly! I forgot to mention that he also did a fantastic version of NOML getting the crowd singing too. |

I have answered this in the Channel V thread too, but going by this website accommodation.schoolies.org.au/when-is-schoolies-week.htmSchoolies finished last weekend 24/25 November. I hope we haven't missed Damien on Channel V. I am looking forward to the rest of your report Nuffy. Damien has a way with messing with cameras, pa systems etc. hehe  It must be his electrifying personality. ;D |

Also, the Southern States are here now for their Schoolies, Qld have finished theirs. So probably this Monday or the next it will be on. That link I had up shows they all finished last weekend with the exception of WA - finishes today and Victoria finishes tomorrow.
So we (those that get V Channel) should be on the lookout THIS Monday for Damiens appearance.

Thanks for the report Nuffy, sounds like a great evening! ;D lol Damien reading all these posts - makes me nervous!!
My camera has suffered teh coma twice in a row with Damien. Works fine for anything else - beach, animals etc. but with D it just stops working with no explanation.
