Did anyone else just see the Channel 10 morning news? Angela Bishop just had a 5 minute interview with Damien about Saving Kids. Lots of footage of the show and Damien sang the Chorus and sounded beautiful!!!! Angela asked Damien why people should watch the show and Damien went on to say how its inspirational and how it shows you how the Dr's and staff can make such a difference in people's lives. He also said his accent made some of the filming difficult and that he had to slow his words down. He looked so relaxed and happy sitting there on the park bench. Really excited about seeing him tonight. Damien Leith the TV Host....I think it's just the beginning  Carla XO |

 I've had the tv on with Ch 10 but muted and my back to it cause I was listening to bloody Kyle go on about Legos!!!! Your recap sounded good though Carla. So I wonder if he just wandered over to the newsroom? Was he wearing the same white T with vest?

He was wearing a light blue shirt. I have seen him in it before. And has the sleeves rolled up. He had his guitar with him and sounded fantastic! Now, I'm wondering if either of these were live... I suppose he could've changed. But it's great anyway to see him around the place. Now for the other stations?

Angela asked Damien when it was on and he said Thursday nights at 8pm and then said "actually tonight".
So I am not sure if it was live because Angela was actually in the studio and said "I caught up with Damien Leith earlier today".
Whether it was prerecorded and they were just saying it was earlier today, I am not sure?

Oh well..do they have a similar news later in the day?- they might repeat it seeing it's a channel 10 show on tonight!

I saw this interview earlier too (posted about it in the wrong thread - oops sorry!
Here's what I posted:
Hey, I just saw Damien being interviewed by Angela Bishop on the Ten 11am news!
He was looking very smexy in a white shirt with lots of stubble!!! It was a nice interview with him playing a chorus from NJFTW. He mentioned that they had some trouble with his accent as the voice over person, and that was probably the hardest thing for him, pronouncing some words. He mentioned the name Liam, which he said being an Irish name he pronounced something like Leem, and he had all kinds of trouble saying Le-am like an Aussie! Very cute!
He said it was starting 'tonight' so perhaps the interview was done today (or not?)
I did record the interview, but don't know how to upload it... sorry! Wish I knew how to do screencaps too - some great shots when I pause it (which I am doing a lot!!!) Let me know if its easy to do?
