MY 4 YEAR OLDS DAMIEN OBSESSION

My 4 year old daughter raiyne, has developed a slight obsession 4 damien... she has been watching his dvd in bed before going to sleep since the day i got it. i wanted to watch last night so i put play school on for her in bed, 2 hours later she was still awake. i had finished the winners journey so i decided to put it back on for her, i waited a little while then heard her call out... goodnight mum, the dvd was over and she was asleep within 5 minutes!!

AHHHHH i need another copy, i need a few copies incase one wears out!!

ahhh no it doesnt put her to sleep, perhaps i should have said that i bribed her and said she can watch it if she goes straight to sleep after it finishes... hmmm no i didnt explain it very well did i!!

She's a girl of fine taste !!

The ability to recognise beautiful soul & identify great talent defies age groups...a 4 y.o can recognize something beautiful as well as - or probably better than - any age. Kids haven't taken on societies definitions at that age...so they just respond to pure energy (vibe) and soul. And D's energy is certainly beautiful!!

awww raiyne...we ought to get a 4 year old appreciation society together - or a Damien Leith Lovers Play Date.

Since Damien told Maia to find a guy closer to her own age she has grown more and more in love with him.

Yesterday we had the big family Chanukah party - where all the family gather around and buy a stupid amount of presents for the kids. (it is a bit excessive - but i digress). anyway i had suggested to In Laws that they buy a small cheap CD player and the Sandi Thom CD - as they had been to a friends house who had both and it had kept them entertained for hours.

So last night we plugged it in and set it up. Then I had a thought - seeing i have a number of spare NOML singles (I went a bit nuts in the shops) I gave them one. so for the past 24 hours (apart from when they are asleep) i have heard a medley of Sandi Thom and Damien going from the play room. Today I went in Jaymie (5)'s room and found on the Megasketcher she had written - spelt perfectly *so proud* "Maia Damien Leith/ Jaymie Sandi Thom".

I asked them about it and Maia admitted that Damien was her favourite. actually her words were "Damien has the best voice ever mummy. i like him better than ever now." Jaymie then reminded her that she couldn't marry him and they had a fight and Maia bit Jaymie.

Maia's a biter and we're used to it (not that we approve or encourage it in any way). Jaymie knows what she gets when she upsets our Maia (the little scorpio with a true scorpio temper ;D)

it's much more painful when you bump heads with her. i don't know what her skull's made of - accidental bumps don't bother her - but bring tears to everyone else's eyes - even her swimming teacher last week

awww. your little ones sound so cute! especially maia. dont worry, i was a biter when i was little, and as sad as it is to say.... im 15 and still am.

Why am I not surprised the little ones love Damien?
He is wonderful with Jarvis, and we know he'll be a great Dad to the new baby. And, the kids at the Children's Hospital the other day had beautiful beaming smiles on their faces when they met Damien.
