While we're talking about Damien recordings, can I ask an unrelated question? Did anyone ever find a podcast of Damien singing Creep acapella on Nova?

That would be something, hype! will search..
re 'Fool'..liked it, sung with feeling (as always)..I agree it's somewhat Neil Finn-ish..think D would be chuffed at the comparison! It's reassurring in a weird way to know that he has/had this side to him..sort of rounds out his personality.

Not sure who's The Fool (a bit harsh for a school teacher!?...some nasty cow has been a total bitch to "our Damien" by the sounds... Who would do that?! Who wrote this song anyway? Is it by another band, or is it a Damien original? I understand it is a Damien original

I understand it is a Damien original He has to put it on the album now, it's so good, it's driving me crazy - literally! I was driving around today doing my Christmas shopping, and in my head I could hear Damien yelling "You're a fool! Fool! You're driving me insane!" It's playing on a continuous loop in my head, it's driving me insane! It's such a forceful song! I like it when he sings angrily - he sounds kinda puffed out at the end! Great guitar playing!

On Mods - this is an original song of Damien's - can we please pin it at the beginning of the forum?

Thinking about the context of when this song was written, and the media reports from Ireland, it sounds like this song oughta be dedicated to that fool, Louis Walsh, for going for the boring boy bands and overlooking a real star in Damien.
Mods, may we please have a "bash Louis" icon cos I reckon that is going to get more work over coming weeks than the "bash Mark" icon (although no doubt that will never go unusued from time to time!)

Or we could have a general, non-specific bashmark for the record producers or recording industry as a whole for disregarding him for so long. Does anyone know why things fell through for the family band in the States? I'm telling you, I really love this song now. He has to put in on his CD. And if it really is aimed at someone in the industry, how absolutely perfect. Another one in the eye for his detractors.

They were interesting stats DD. I wouldn't have thought of looking them up. Let's all hit their website again and make him Number 1.
