I was sitting on the lounge room floor this afternoon wrapping Christmas presents and listening to TWJ fully cranked. Unchained Melody came on and I just stopped what I was doing with the wrapping paper and sticky tape and listened to Damien do his magic with that song. It wasn't until Never Meant To Fail was halfway through that I realised I had tears rolling down my face! Unchained Melody stirs my emotions, what can I say!

;D How come you're a 14 year old Harmless Stalker and I'm an (older than you) Wannabe? I don't wannabe anything, I already am everything I wannabe. I'm glad you're a Harmless Stalker Kris, but you should be a stah by now!

Gee, I wasn't the only one wrapping Chrissy presents today, as my Winner's Journey CD was playing on the stereo. 'Unchained Melody' - as I recall, he sang that the same night as 'Nessun Dorma'. I love how he started off so understated, then ramped up the vocals for the final chorus, and can anyone in popular music do a better falsetto than Damien? Yes, it brings happy tears rolling down my face, like most songs on the CD/DVD do.

Clay Aiken was the runner-up to Ruben Studdard in 2003. He was not the winner. He actually has a sensational voice, but I agree, he murdered this song.

Be nice, dede. I think his version of the song was fantastic, and I actually liked the fact that he didn't ramp it up all the way at the end. Actually, I think that was wise after Nessun Dorma because I think that his voice was a bit strained. But really, if we're talking Righteous Brothers songs, if he ever does a version of "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" I may just melt down into a little puddle.

Clay actally did alright at it...But obviously Damien was a million times better . Every time any idol from any country has done unchained melody they always start off like clay did, but Damien's arrangment was different, and i have to say better.
