Damien's falsetto is one of the best I've ever heard. For instance, it takes NOML from a fairly ordinary ballad to something quite special.

His strongest falsetto performance is Creep. His falsetto high notes were much purer and stronger earlier in the competition than later - no suprises of course, repetitive strain can disempower the falsetto. Indeed, Sony ought to send Damien for a quick check with an ENT specialist to make sure his vocal chords have withstood the lengthy competition - nodules are very common and could impair his long term viability.

FYI = for your information *forgives Roxy, for it is late* thanks dede,....I see it everywhere and always forget to ask.. and I always think of Cosima and what happened to her with her voice at the end of the competition and hope Damien gets regular check ups too. you could hear the strain starting by the end of the comp for sure...hopefully his trip to Ireland has rested his vocals enough for when he gets back here and starts recording his album.

I'm sure his mum is onto it. She was a great singer.
