This is the song that made me fall in love with D..the first time.

His rendition of this beautiful love song was absolutely stunning. The tones of the final "beautiful to me" were gorgeous..he was new to the whole Idol thing and performance style had not evolved, (nor had the stubble

) but the Voice was Devine!!! I played the little vid snippet available on the AI site a hundered times that night. It isn't on The Winner's journey, but is on The Final 12 DVD..*sigh*

OH SAME!!!!...this was the first time i actally got to hear Damien cause there were so many ppl and i hadnt really narrowed it down to one person. But when i herd him sing this....I was immedently in love with that angel voice

I downloaded that video today, and listened to the song, with tears rolling down my face. The bit at the end, when Damien does the high notes, is beautiful!
Looking back on it all now, I wonder why I ever had any doubts Damien could win Idol? He was by far the best this year, maybe the best Idol contestant there has ever been.
