Loved this the first time I heard it and after repeat viewings I almost think this acoustic version is better than the single version!
The change in the melody at "maybe this whole thing comes right down to fate..." is beautiful...sigh...
D will have to do an "unplugged" show too!!

Totally agree, morgaine! His album will hopefully have lots of acoustic stuff on it, but he is sooo good live and relaxed, either with guitar or keyboard.

Yeah... I loved the little twist he put into it at one point! It was so pretty. I'm still so impressed that Damien performed all by himself, without a band! I love the way he sounds with a full band or orchestra, but his acoustic songs are brilliant. There are so few people who can perform with just their voices and a piano or guitar and stand out. A live acoustic album has to happen in the future! Maybe after he's done four or five albums we'll see something like that.

It was like that at robina too.Just him & his guitar. So pure & beautiful That's when u know someone is a true star ,when they can stand there with a guitar (or piano) & just sing their heart out & sound absolutely fantastic.I loved the acoustic NOML,totally brilliant!! ;D

I love the acoustic version! Especially the "mabye this whole tthing comes right down to fate..." bit and the "I want you to know that I was with you when I..." bit. It's just all so Damien with the guitar and everything. (How cool is using "Damien" as an adjective.)
