Call me a party pooper (OK I will beat you to it, the next person is going to write that as my name...hoh, hoh) but wouldn't TWJ be classed as a live DVD since it is meant to be his recordings from Idol? This concert tour is featuring mostly the songs from TWJ. Don't care, WANT LIVE CONCERT CD WITH FULL VERSIONS OF SONGS! Joins in chant.. |

My favourite song of all time is without a doubt Hallelujah and Damien doing it justice on Idol definitely got him a few more votes each week from me. But on TWJ it wasn't 'doing it' for me - not helped by the fact that it's abridged. However when I saw Damien performing it at Star City I swear I went numb from my head to my toes. Wow!!!!!!!!! And then ....I heard Song for Jarvis for the first time .... and while I need to hear it a few more times - it was certainly way up there both musically and lyrically  |

Morgaine, I have to agree with you, the live version of Sky with the band is so........uplifting, I LOVE it.
Dede, I also noticed Creep was missing from the set list, and even asked him about it lol.
Fave covers would be Crying, his range is just incredible, and Nessun Dorma, don't think I need to elaborate on that one.
Also love With Or Without you as it really seems to get the audience involved.
Also, I agree with everyone who suggested a cd/dvd from the tour, maybe after the bigger tour later this year there might be something like that.

But when he came back on stage for the encore. He stode right to the very front of the stage, he was so close I could have reached out and pulled him off the stage, but I contained myself. 
He launched into Nessun Dorma which I wasn't expecting and the emotion he put into the song was spell binding. You could have heard a pin drop. What a performance
