okay, no rocks please, but I was a big ABBA fan and the music here is reminiscent of a couple of their songs

This is such an upbeat song, I love it..the unusual soaring vocal is fantastic..a great feel-good song..listen to it loud and it really gets the blood pumping haha..OK, it's not Grand Opera, but neither were Abba, and they sold a record or two...

Hmmm, I can actually hear that! ;D I got the ball rolling - I PMed Angela, and while I was at it I mentioned that ever since Warringah my mum and I have been singing this song constantly and it would make a great single *hint hint* . Surely Damien will listen to his mum... ;D

The instrumental parts - particularly behind the HEEEEEEEEEE-E-E-E-E-EEEEEEEEEEE! - reminded me of ABBA too! My mother looked at me like I was nuts when I mentioned it to her the other day, but she will see it herself eventually... I can't pick an exact song of theirs that it corresponds to... the bridge part made me think of Mamma Mia actually but I'd also have to stop playing Damien to confirm that - but it definitely has that vibe. And I my ABBA, so it's fine with me. Their pop music was classy. ;D

Well done Hyp! That's a difficult one.. Maybe one where he doesn't do so much walking? He makes me dizzy when he does that

great news The thing that excites me most about this upcoming single is the fact that it is COMPLETELY written by Damien, not a co-write I wonder how many Idol winners/contestants have managed to achieve that to date? no really, I am curious. Thanks to Wikipedia, I know Shannon hasnt. Not enough info on Guy's second album to know...and not sure of all the other contestants...anyone ?
