Fantastic news. (more TV channel hopping just to hear ads) Last week when AIWIY was playing in the background of the Idol eliminaton night I was jumping from Channel 10 to Channel 7 so that I could hear AIWIY and then Shine Like the Sun. I managed to hear both quite a few times including the long version of the ad for City Homicide and SLTS. I wonder what station this new show will be on.

How can anyone say D is crap ... how many other singers release their first album and then have the songs used on TV shows and ads. Shannon Noll had Lift used on The Biggest Loser, but that was from his second album so that doesn't count. (Lol, even though WWL is sort of Damien's second album as well.) Anyway, CONGRATS DAMIEN! I hope it's a popular TV series so heaps of people will hear the song (and hopefully buy the album too). And even if it isn't a popular TV series, NJFTW will make it popular.

This is fantastic news, congratulations Damien. I just hope the TV series is worthy of this exquisite song. This may sound weird but I quite often put one of Damien's songs to something I'm watching on TV. Not literally but I sing it in my head while I'm watching a movie etc.

I'm just saying that a song off Shannon's album was on a TV show, sung by him.

That's fab - two songs for two tv series!! Has anyone else noticed that this is a great song for dancing ballet to?? I had it on last night and my daughter and I were dancing around the room, dredging up all my almost forgotten ballet moves!! The cat thought I had gone mad and ran as fast as she could out of the room!!

With the news that NJFTW is now the theme song for the 2008 TV series "Saving Kids", I unexpectedly heard the lyrics in a completely different way just yesterday as I waited for my daughter at the train station. When I heard the news, at first I thought "Wow. It's perfect cause it's about the love of children and parents"...etc. But then as I listened to each line yesterday, scenes kept popping into my head automatically, like in a video... images from a parent's and the medical staff's perspective, and from the originally healthy to the currently sick child's eyes. Every line is so pertinent to the themes of this kind of series or documentary. Since it was just a spontaneous response it caught me so unprepared that before long the tears just welled up with so many emotions - hope, joy, fear, despair and relief It was so surprising and poignant cause all I could think of was "what if it was one of my kids?" and I was/am so grateful my daughters are healthy now. And that's just the song - what'll I do when it's paired with the actual tv programme? ...get a big box of tissues, I guess. I even forgot that Damien wrote NJFTW for Jagger and not for the series. What a brilliant song.

I've liked this song from the beginning..especially the acoustic version. The lines gave my heart to a broken dream, faded too easilyreally get to me. I love the sentiment, and agree Mysterri, it could be applied in other circumstances too.It works wonderfully. I think Saving Kids viewers will love it too. ;D
