I find d it hard to comprehend that he hasn't seen any kangaroos yet. Unless he meant in the main street, but I am sure that he meant never. Someone tell me that I am wrong if I am please.

Oh wow, I've only just seen this at last - what a wonderful find, nuffy!!! Thank you so much What a moving, heartfelt speech. Damien certainly has the gift with words and is a born story teller, he really brings home all the issues with moving to a new country. I'm so glad Damien has felt so welcomed here and hope that he will always love it, and the good thing is these days hopefully he will often be able to make visits to Ireland as well. "Not Just for the Weekend" is one of my fav 3 songs from the album, and this was a gorgeous version.

*oh, forgot to add* - is it really possible Damien hasn't seen a kangaroo yet, or do you think he is pulling our legs?

Damien's never seen a kangaroo? Didn't he see any at the wildlife park in Darling Harbour the day Jarvis fell into the fountain?

NEW LINKS for a newly loaded youtube interview:
Damien also did an interview for "Live In Australia" as apparently he is an ex-client. I love hearing him talk about so many things but this interview really covers so much about how he feels/felt about the big move. He also talks about his real feeling about doing chemistry in college. it's mainly a promo for the service but good to watch and listen to. Damien Leith Interview for the launch of “Live In Australia.com” on youtube in 2 parts:
