Yes Damien said that tonight actually. He said Eils wrote it with him and that she has written other songs too. Good on her, that's really cool.  I haven't heard the song yet so I'll have more to say when I actually have, lol. |

I just downloaded "This Christmas" from iTunes, I couldn't get into the shop over the weekend to buy the album, but hopefully will do that tomorrow! It's a lovely song and you can really feel the heart of someone who is missing the experience of Christmas's of old. Life is never the same after a big change, and you can't help but miss it even if you love your new life too! ohhh, that's better, just listening to it on my iPod, my computer speakers are rubbish! Damien's voice sounds a little different to me in this song - there is a huskiness (ala Shannon Noll) in some of the notes that I havent' heard before. I like it - it's not overused (like Shannon seems to be doing  ), and it just gives the song a different edge!  (Hopefully it's not because he is wearing his voice out on the concert tour  ) |

Your concert* is exactly one month before Christmas Eve - It'll be so appropriate  ... and the last WWL concert for Australia for this year  If Damien plays This Christmas, Danny Boy, Waiting on an Angel and Hallelujah he'll have the whole audience  their way to get his albums so they can do it all again at home * But Damien should do it for all the concerts from now on  |

Tina, I noticed the huskiness too. I really like it. It sounds different but I like different, different can be good!  I just absolutely adore this song, the words are so beautiful and meaningful! Nuffy, you can still download iTunes - you don't have to have an ipod. I don't have one and I downloaded the single with the extra songs way back & burnt them onto a cd. Or you can just listen to the sample...

I just made a Christmas siggy to this song! and I listened to it while doing it it is so emotional and just gorgeous! I actually stopped a few times what I was doing and just listened! ;D |
