Thanks so much for posting that Roxy. Oh it's just beautiful. How touching. I had tears streaming down my face too - took me right back to when my son was in hospital so often as a little tacker. I can't wait to see the series - but I'll definitely need a tissue box lol. Damien really is uplifting though - it's beautifully done and don't the kids and adults all look so happy listening to Damien's beautiful voice!

What a fabulous video. I felt extremely proud watching it. Well done Damien and everyone involved with it. The producers of the show have said that there won't be any bad stuff (outcomes) shown.

I was just thrilled to see this video, we've all been looking forward to it so much! Not Just for the Weekend has been my fav song from the album for a while now, and I've hoped it would be released on it's own, it really showcases Damien's particular way of songwriting apart from being just gorgeous in itself and I hope for those who aren't as familiar with his music as us, it will create even more interest in his album. The video is just beautiful! One of the loveliest I have seen, and I also loved the fact that the whole tour band (except Darren, sadly) was in it and giving the kids a show. I loved seeing the effect a special day like that was having on the kids in the video, their little faces were showing such happiness in the audience, a real break for them from the reality of their routine in the hospital. I found it so hopeful, Damien's gentle songs have such a strength underlying them too. Even though it's a lilting lullaby almost, it also reaffirms the strength and commitment of a parent saying "I'll take you home" and look after you. Just perfect for the show!! The video is also giving us an idea of how perfect a choice Damien is for the show, he has such empathy with the kids, such a lovely presence with them. I loved seeing the little girls in that crowd bouncing along to the song with balloons and smiles on their face - it looked like a junior swoon city front row Totally love the video - can't wait for it to be widely shown on tv!

Lovely to log on today and see this update. Thanks for that, Roxy, I *cough*don't check out the official site regularly enough *cough*
I hope this means Channel 10 will start playing this whole video (nb the whole song!) during prime time between TV shows as a promo for the series ?
I have made some caps in the Photos section.
