Ok - well as opposed to Mark and Kyle!! You nailed this vocal Damien!
This is a song that had me worried, because when I realised which one it was I'm not a fan of the song itself - HOWEVER! This is the only time I've ever heard this song and loved hearing it sung, Damien. You really got that vocal going and I totally enjoyed your rendition.
Just adding this as well - thanks for looking as though you were actually enjoying yourself Damien even if this theme wasn't your favourite. At least you tried to give the audience a party atmosphere and a bit of fun and didn't get self conscious about it.

secondly - i totally dug it, i was dancing and grooving and singing along with you - my whole family was....you own that song hun and i loved it to bits. You got the crowd rocking and everything!
thirdly the judges should get a life!! Kyle and Mark are both pieces of crapola hehehe and i dont like them - i say boot out kyle and bring back Dicko.
You moved out of your comfort zone like they told you....with Kyles comments - 'why didnt you make it into your own style?' or whatever he said - if you did you would have got bagged too.....dont worry about them because I enjoyed it and so did the crowd! |

I loved tonight's performance it was fun, fun, fun!!! I was bopping away and I started to sing too, but I stopped because I love your voice and didn't want to miss a word of your beautiful singing. Mark and Kyle are just plain rude and jealous, please don't take any notice of their negative comments.
Now please pacify me and do the following:-) 1) stretch both of your arms out straight in front of you 2) place your right hand onto your left shoulder blade 3)place your left hand onto your right shoulder blade ..........and please give yourself a big hug from me because Mark especially and also Kyle were so rude and nasty! By the way, well done with handling their negative comments so well. Stand proud Damien, you did great and are a wonderful person and entertainer.

Just wanted to add that this is the 2nd week in a row when I thought Damien had done really well and was looking forward to hearing some nice comments - only to hear that nastiness.  I also wanted to comment on Damien's look tonight. Loved whatever you did with your hair, it looked fab. Also really want to note how stunning you look on camera with dark clothes around your face. It sets off your complexion so well and gives you a very streamlined look. Your eyes have just sparkled on screen when you've worn dark clothes, this is a great style option for you. |

Hear hear! to all the positive comments above!  You were so much fun tonight, Damien and I loved your perfomance. To say I was gob-smacked by Kyle and Mark's vicious tirades against you would be an understatement. You truly didn't deserve such harsh invectives. You alone of all the performers, captured the true spirit of disco and it was obvious the audience thought so too.  They were going right off and boogeying on down, more so for you than any other performer tonight, from what I saw! I've never seen such a contrast between audience/judges reactions. The crowd was all hyped and happy then WHAM, party poopers Mark and Kyle hurl verbal wet blankets and snuff out the joy. Pffft They have it in for you Damien, no doubt about it but you'll be fine cos we all love ya ta bits, sweetie. Hugs to Eileen because that woulda been rough watching hubby being unfairly attacked like that.  |

I was sooooooooooo angry at Mark and Kyle!
I mean it's not his style of music and Damien knows that, it's so far off what he does. But despite that he did it and did it well!
Everyone knows Damo's voice is amazing and unique, but some people have been saying that he can't move or use the stage that well
LAST NIGHT he showed that he CAN! My fears have been put aside on that matter cos he totally worked the room quite well indeed.
We already knew about the voice, now we know he's got the rest as well
GO DAMO WE ARE ALL BEHIND YOU!

You know I still can't help but feel so sad for Damien with the way Mark and Kyle were so rude to him. Damien did not deserve that grilling. If anything, he deserved praise for last night's performance. I'm looking forward to Damien wiping their cocky little smirky sneery smiles off their faces tonight when he gets through with flying colours. I have no doubt that he will get through easily and he definitely won't be in the bottom three.
