That took my breath away. I had tears pouring down my face - tears of happiness. That would have to be the best performance I have ever seen in my life. I loved it!!! It made me tingle. I was so happy to see Mark give him a touchdown. I agree, Eileen must be soooooooo proud of her hubby tonight - he is brilliant!!!

After you've been riding out a tough couple of weeks idolwise, I hope you both totally enjoy these happy times Damien & Eileen! Cheers to you! That was better than I had even hoped - and I was hoping big!!! Just totally thrilled for Damien and loved every single moment of the most mesmerising performance. Love this song anyway, but your arrangement was so incredible. My friends and I have had the phones running hot for our weekly idol catchup tonight - we were screaming *touchdown* ;D - we just adore you Damien and are so happy for you after seeing you gain the respect you so dearly deserve! ;D |

I SIMPLY CANT CALM DOWN AFTER THAT STUPENDOUS PERFORMANCE (See other thread for more details) hhahahahaa !!!!! DAMIEN HAS EVEN OUTDONE HIMSELF THIS TIME, MY HEART IS RACING, NO HUMAN CAN SING LIKE THAT, THIS VOICE IS DIRECTLY FROM HEAVEN. WORDS FAIL ME, AM SPEECHLESS WITH EXHILARATION, (is that a real word, hahaha) there are no words to explain that performance, they havent invented them, that has to be his first single when he gets signed for sure, I think I better go and have a cold shower or something, phew !!!!!!!!! Oh Eileen am sooooooo jealous of you, you lucky lucky woman, I bet u have no problems with Jarvis crying at night, with Damien singing lullabyes to him, you are both sooooo blessed. As for Holden, well he had no choice did he, when your faced with perfection what can u do.

Folks that was magical! I was totally spellbound!! Oh god, I knew he was great, but tonight he was superb!!I was almost in tears and then I was dancing with joy when Mark ahd the good grace to give that performance what it deserved. Even Kyle said he was perfect!!! The only thing they said that puzzled me was 'welcome back where have you been?? He was in freakin disco land where you sent him, ya nongs! Damien is divine!!!

Astounding, and more wonderful than words can say.
I really am so stunned, I was expecting it to be great, but not this. Not this beautiful and moving and spellbinding.
In fact, I'm not sure if I'll be able to listen to the original again, for me Damiens version is the benchmark. And I love the CI version of Wicked Game. But move over mate ;D

I was pleased to see Mark & Kyle more respectful this week, but I won't be forgetting their inappropriate snickering in a hurry either. |
