Week 6: Wicked Game

I knew Damo would be totally safe tonight, poor Bobby, (she gets away again !!!! grrrrr) I think Bobby was pretty much ready to go, and can now do his own thing, which Im sure he will do well, I couldnt ever make my mind up about this bloke, he did really struggle with the high notes Sunday night, and I thought he may be in bottom 3. I think Damien will miss him, I detect they were fairly close from all accounts. Looking forward 2, 2 moro,was glad Ricky survived as well, poor bloke cant do anything right in their eyes, he has grown on me so much over the comp. Again congrats Damo, u superstar you.

Ah - our Damo is safe! And how great - never even in the bottom 3! So so happy for you Damien!!! Wicked Game is one of the standout moments of Idol for any series for me, that was just in at another level, still so captivated by that performance.

But oh wow, I'm so sad Bobby is gone This is the first idol farewell which has had me really disapponted. Trouble is now the ones are left are so good, it's always going to be a sad farewell each time.

I'm just so relieved they invited Bobby back for originals night, because it was just tragic if he missed that.

Hi Everyone,
This is the very first time in my entire life that I have ever joined a forum, but feel compelled to do so after hearing Damien yet again. I loved his voice from the very beginning during auditions for Idol, but have actually become quite obsessed with him over the weeks. To me, music is something that touches my soul, brings back memories, or puts a smile on my face. Memorable music (to me) is like reading a great book, seeing a beautiful picture, or watching a beautiful sunset. It makes me cry, laugh, smile, remember and actually feel SOMETHING. I drive alot in my work and rely on music to help pass the time of day. This morning I was heading north and thought of Damien and how I really, really wanted to hear his beautiful voice singing to me. Thank you for making me feel this way - when it happens it's really special to me. I've never watched Idol before but GOD it feels like a lifetime till next Sunday night when I can hear you sing again. Put out a CD before I get severe withdrawal symptoms.
PS I've really enjoyed reading all the other posts from everyone who recognises pure talent.

It feels so strange to post a reply to a forum! Yes , it truly is my first one! Thanks for the feedback. I feel so comfortable here - it makes me wonder why I have only looked and not commented before. Maybe I just think that Damien is worth it!
