WOOHOO, Neski, just posted the same thing on the Damien Fan Club Idol board! Gotta love the Irish boys, they looked so comfortable and adorable together!

Happy, happy me too. Thanks to several glasses of wine after work (*read* looking at Damien on various websites) and him through to next week I can finally relax! We have to keep up the voting like this each week though - no rest for the wicked and D-obsessed). I honestly can't believe I carrying on like this, should be ashamed of myself but am not!!! You won't believe it but D actually showed up in a dream of mine last night (won't go into details but I had a smile when I woke up). Seeing as he is married and I am married and not to each other I'm going to have to get a grip (ie get a life!). Too old and weary for all this but loving evey second of it. Can't WAIT to hear his beautiful again next week. Is it Sunday yet?? Cheers, Lozza

Does this mean that D goes to the arias next week after the top5 show...theyve done that in years past ;D If its the case, $5 says Ricky will be the one to get trashed and found in the morning under a table.... (and Ricky fans, I mean that in the nicest possible way - love the boy and his laddish ways )

I'm so happy for Damo and so, so, proud of him. Can you imagine how proud Mrs Leith, Eileen and all his family must be at the moment though? I'm over the moon that he's never even been in the bottom three. Well done to Damien for getting through with so much ease!
He's always so professional whilst being at ease too. I agree with Neski, to see Damien and Ronan together was like being in heaven. I absolutely love Ronan, as you know from a previous thread a week or so ago, so to see my two favourite singers in the world together sent me into shiver meltdown lol. I wonder if they will become good buddies as time goes on?
Anyway, i'm totally rambling (which is nothing unusual lol) .......... well done to D! Way to go Damo!!!!!
Hugs, Belinda

I'm so happy that Damien will get to go to the Arias with the final 5 - imagine all the mingling they can do that night, it will be a big reward for them after some tough weeks!

I'll be peeved with Neski. My good friend and her hubby are going to the ARIA's as they do every year and I'm so envious. She's told me she will try to get a pic of or with Damien just to please me. I'm hoping like mad she gets to. So yeah, on ARIA night how about we sit and sulk together lol?

I'm aging myself badly here lol but when I was a spring chicken I went to the Countdown Awards with my schoolfriends ;D It was good fun and we saw all the big music stars of the day including Kate Ceberano, Neil Finn and Johnny Farnham. And yes, to me he'll always be Johnny, not John Neski, go to Sydney for the day with your mates and stand on the red carpet - there's a train station right outside the building, you'll have a ball!

Hello all.....I agree with you all..I am so happy that he hasn't been in the bottom three yet, just shows how amazing he is and how many people must be voting for him. His family will be so proud of him and so they should be. He looked great with Ronan Keating (I love his music) and all I kept thinking was imagining Damien and Ronan doing a song together..how amazing it would sound.. Also will Damien be singing first up..as he was last this week. Just wondering if anyone knows?. and can't wait for them to sing two songs a night....what a bonus for us!. xox. ;D

winterlong I'm only going by past years, but the idols always went to the Arias.
Kicking myself now that I didn't bother buying tickets when they went onsale, they weren't expensive and it looks like being a top night, lots of good Aussie music this year!
Ah and yes, wasn't it nice seeing Damo and the idols enjoying themselves with Ronan Keating! Particularly little Jess, what a thrill for her Ronan sounded great when he sang.
Happy days - 2 songs each week! ( I think that starts next week, but not sure)

I think the common belief is once you sing last one week, you get bumped back to the first spot the following week.
And I'm guessing with the show only being an hour long they will still be doing 1 song each, till they get to audience choice top 4?
*speculating*
