oh my...I'm still shaking.... how is it that I guy I dont even know and never will can move me to such degrees??!!?!?!?!?! I am officially...owned. for. life. Winter, you said (elsewhere) it is an honour and a privelege to be a fan of this WONDERFUL man. I could not have put it better. I did the *crazywithhappinesspolka* in my loungeroom tonight, after I wiped the tears from my eyes! DAMIEN, YOU ARE MAGNIICENT. Well I'm in QLD so I only came on to say how frickin fantastic Crying was!!!! But I see from the posts that he's gonna score another touchdown!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew tonight was going to be awesome as we knew what songs Damien was going to sing (as voted by us) and that they were perfectly suited to him but WOWZERS.
Crying.....vocally BRILLIANT....to me even better than Roy Orbison's version (if that's possible)...Just stunning.....He owned the stage, the song, the night everything...and that falsetto OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG....I had shivers from head to toe I think...I was just amazed.....
and Hallelujah...how absolutely beautiful was this performance. With just the acoustic guitar and backing singers (I barely noticed the backing singers lol), Damien's performances always consist in the most part on his beautiful voice and impressive vocal range. He has so much power in his voice and yet can sing the sweetest and most beautiful falsetto....
How he managed to perform these 2 songs in 2 mins each is just amazing, esp Hallelujah, that song could easily take 5 mins to perform well, but he managed to do it in 2 mins....OH MY GOD I am just completely blown away.
I was instantly Damien's fan from his first audition...but now I can honestly say that I am a fan for life.....
Damien has taken idol to a new level. I barely even noticed the other contestants were even there tonight....he was just that good.......I hope one day I get to see him perform live and meet him in person...what a blessing that would be. He is the best singer I have come across in the last ten years.

Hi All
Just joined this site to share, congratulate and celebrate this amazing guy! Damien has always been my favourite idol constestant, but tonight he just blew me away - he outshone the rest by a mile!!!! He is the only contestant whose performances send shivers down my spine - tonight was outstanding! He is simply THE BEST there - keep voting everyone!! Anyone who can just stand there and deliver like that, with no overkill of backing vocals, and just SINGS with that result, has my vote every time (and again, and again, and again......)! In addition to all this talent, he seems to also be a beautiful person too! Go Damien!! We're right behind you all the way!!!

I just finished watching.....damn daylight saving....
I am drunk with happiness right now....I was screaming, jumping up and down like a looney!..hehe....
Well done Damien you are a star.....and I can't wait for you to tell me the same!
He just showed how much of a professional he is compared to the rest of them.....they all seemed so inferior in comparison....and I don't mean that in a mean way, as the other 3 are also very good, but boy he was THE STAR of the show....I feel like a proud momma right now...
All the way to the Opera House I say!.
and did anyone see him WINK while standing with Andrew G and james after the first song.....I DID....HE WINKED!.......thats what I was asking him to do......ok maybe I'm just getting carried away....but I'm just so excited..

I am just totally blown away. I agree, he could never get rid of us if he tried. I saw him wink, and of course if was just for you roxychic (I'll get carried away with you lol) :-)
How lucky was that woman who had Damien sing to her one on one? If I had a million dollars I would pay for that experience. I bet she will treasure that moment forever.
He is my favourite musician/singer of all time. His talent, the way he sang those two songs, the touchdowns, i'm just mesmerised and in a Damien trance lol. I'm totally speechless, he just touches you right within when he sings. I agree with Kyle he was just perfect!!!
Way to go Damo!!!!
